Bobby Hebb was the man behind “Sunny”, an evergreen standard. Covered by many, “Sunny” was a song that brought out the best of any singer that tackled it. As a kid, I remember it6 being a staple on all of the variety shows on television and at the time I would have been hard pressed to name which was the original. That’s to my shame. Hebb’s of course was the original and it is original, supple and always fresh.
